Unit: Interventional Vascular - RN/RT Notes Added 12/31/2025 (MS) - # Suites/labs: 1 - #cases per day on average: 4 - Required Certifications: BLS and ACLS for RN staff, AART for Rad Techs - Common diagnoses/Types of patients: TCAR, EVAR, EKOS, AIF, IVC filters, Infusaports, Permacaths, peripheral angiography, venograms, peripheral bypass - Job Duties: Rad Techs scrub and assist physician, need to know sterile technique. Prefer EKOS experience but can train. RNs circulate, sedate, and complete documentation requirements. - Experience: Prior Cath Lab or Rad Tech experience. One year of experience. - EMR/Equipment: EPIC EMR; Philips Azurion hybrid OR - Vascular Surgeon hours/on call: On Call 24-7 - Manager/Charge Nurse: Director, Manager, Charge RN - Cath Lab Techs: Yes, Rad Techs - Shifts & Scheduling: Five days per week, 8 hour shifts - Weeknight/Call Requirement: 8-9 nighst of on call per four week schedule. Includes one weekend of call per schedule. Call shifts typically 4pm to 7am. - Weekend/Call Requirement: weekday 4pm to 7 am. Weekend 24 hour call. - Holiday/Call Requirement : Rotational - Is there a mandatory call/standby requirement?: Yes, RN and Rad Techs - What is call response time?: 30 minutes - Floating Requirements: No- if extra hours wanted, there are units they can go to if they have experience. - Scrub Color/Dress Code: Surgical attire- provided. Lead not provided. - Unit/Department specific orientation: General hospital orientation, Nursing orientation, Computer training in the department, one week or up to 36 hours of orientation time to the department
