Our client is building a next generation digital media platform at the intersection of travel, storytelling, and technology—designed to inspire, inform, and connect travelers with destinations in meaningful ways.
They are seeking a senior, relationship driven Sales Account Manager with deep experience in digital/media sales and the travel industry to help drive high-impact partnerships and revenue growth. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who already knows the space, has strong industry contacts, and thrives on opening doors with major, high profile brands.
This role is fully remote and open to candidates based anywhere on the West Coast or in Hawaii, with regular travel to Hawaii, California, and Washington states. If you love building big relationships, selling innovative digital solutions, and having an excuse to travel to Hawaii for work—you’ll feel right at home.
What You’ll Do
- Own and grow media and digital advertising revenue, with a focus on travel, tourism, and lifestyle brands
- Build and manage relationships with senior decisionmakers at airlines, travel platforms, hospitality groups, and major advertisers (think Southwest Airlines–type clients and beyond)
- Leverage existing industry contacts and agency relationships to accelerate deal flow
- Pitch and close high impact, custom digital solutions including sponsorships, branded content, and integrated media campaigns
- Expand presence in West Coast markets while maintaining strong ties to Hawaii
- Travel regularly to meet clients and partners in Hawaii, California, and Washington
- Act as a trusted advisor—someone clients want to work with long term, not just on one campaign
- Help open new markets and establish the foundation for scalable sales growth
- Senior level experience in digital media sales, advertising sales, or partnerships
- Strong background in travel, tourism, airlines, hospitality, or destination marketing
- Experience working with or coming from major travel brands or platforms (Expedia type environments highly relevant)
- An established network of client and agency contacts you can activate quickly
- Proven ability to confidently approach and sell to high profile, high value clients
- A true relationship builder—consultative, credible, and persistent
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while staying highly engaged
- Willing and excited to travel between HI, CA, and WA
- Ties to the Hawaii market and existing relationships there are a strong plus
- Competitive base salary + commission and incentives, commensurate with experience
- 1099 position
