Job Title: Dietician Profession: Dietician Specialty: Nutrition Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Monday to Friday, Occasional Saturday Hours per Shift: 08:00 - 16:30 Experience: Minimum 2 years in an Acute Care Hospital setting License: Must have Illinois Dietician License Certifications: Must be a Registered Dietician with the Commission on Dietetic Registration Must-Have: - 2 years recent Dietician experience in an Acute Care Hospital setting - Compliance with applicable federal, state, and local standards and regulations - Ability to implement nutrition care plans according to clinical guidelines Description: Responsible for the planning and implementation of the nutrition care of patients. Ensures compliance with applicable federal, state, and local standards and regulations. Works in coordination with Culinary Services to provide safe and accurate food service. Requires oversight in adherence to policies and procedures related to nutrition care. Shifts include Monday through Friday with occasional Saturday shifts as needed. Can have a day off during the week if working a Saturday shift. Strong communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with the team. Attention to detail is critical to ensure accurate food service delivery.
