Job Title: Dietitian Profession: Dietician Specialty: Staff Augmentation Duration: 52 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Current licensure as a dietitian as issued by the relevant Board of Dietetics Certifications: Participation in continuing dietetic education is required if applicable Must-Have: Knowledge of dietetics/nutrition; state and federal guidelines and accreditation standards Description: This position includes responsibilities related to the planning, evaluation, and implementation of regular, special, and modified diets. The role ensures compliance with regulations and treatment plans. Nutrition assessments of clients will be conducted by reviewing medical charts and interviewing both staff and patients. The position requires maintaining dietary and nutrition records, reports, and progress notes. In-service training programs related to nutrition for clients and staff may be planned or conducted. Attendance at various meetings is required, including treatment team meetings and internal facility committees. The candidate should be able to interpret a wide variety of technical material and counsel clients regarding nutrition. Gathering, collating, and classifying information about data, people, or things is necessary. The role involves preparing meaningful, concise, and accurate reports. This position may require exposure to unpredictable actions in a large campus setting, and walking is necessary. Flexible scheduling is available, allowing for adjustments up to 30 hours per week.
