Travel CVOR Tech - $1,680 to $1,840 per week in Pocatello, ID

Pay Rate: $42.00 - $46.00/Hourly.

Summary: The CVOR Technician assists surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff during cardiovascular surgical procedures. This role is responsible for maintaining a sterile field, preparing specialized cardiac surgical instruments and equipment, and ensuring safe, efficient operating room support during complex procedures such as open-heart and vascular surgeries.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field for cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries.
• Set up and organize specialized surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies (e.g., sternal saws, cardiac retractors, bypass equipment).
• Anticipate surgeon needs during procedures including CABG, valve replacements, aortic repairs, and other cardiac or vascular surgeries.
• Assist with cardiopulmonary bypass setup in coordination with perfusion staff.
• Perform surgical counts of instruments, sponges, and sharps.
