Key Responsibilities of the CT Technologist
- Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Prepare and position patients for CT procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
- Collaborate with physicians and radiologists to capture required imaging
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient records
- Ensure CT equipment is properly maintained and calibrated
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to regulatory standards
Requirements
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent
- Valid Massachusetts state licensure
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a CT Technologist
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures and patient care
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
