Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: CT Tech Specialty: CT Scan Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Variable Hours per Shift: 40 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year preferred License: State License Required Certifications: BLS, ARRT (R) (CT) Must-Have: - Experience with CTA studies - IV start skills preferred - Biopsy experience preferred - Experience with Toshiba and GE preferred Description: A start date is needed for this position. This technologist will primarily work in X-Ray, but will be rotated to CT. The facility has 1 CT room. This role supports emergency department, outpatient, and inpatient care. The patient population is primarily adults and geriatrics, with some pediatrics. Outpatient cases may include oncology, general abdominal pain, post-surgical, and trauma. An average of 25-30 scans are performed per day. The unit has a lead technologist, 2 techs on weekdays and evenings, and 1 tech on weekends. Radiologists are on-site. The department utilizes EMR systems and PACS for imaging. Equipment includes Siemens and GE CT machines. Schedule will involve weekend rotations based on need. No call is required, and holiday scheduling will be done in rotation with other techs. Typically, schedules are 7 weeks in advance. The department operates 24/7, so specific shifts will vary based on department needs. Scrub colors should be solid and professional.
