CT Technologist Profession: CT Tech Specialty: CT Scan Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Variable Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 1 year preferred License: State license required Certifications: BLS, ARRT (R) (CT) required Must-Have: - CTA studies experience - IV start skills preferred - Biopsy experience preferred - Experience with Toshiba and GE preferred Description: ASAP start needed. CT/Rad Tech needed. Imaging room with 1 CT scan room. Patient types include adult, geriatric, and some pediatric. Outpatient care includes oncology, general abdominal pain, post-surgical, and trauma. Average number of patients seen per day is 25-30 scans. Support on the unit includes a lead tech and additional techs on weekdays and evenings, with one on weekends. Radiologist is on site. Technology includes EMR and PACS systems. Floating position with a fixed location for CT. Weekend rotation varies based on need. No on-call required, and holiday expectations are rotated with other techs. Scheduling is based on departmental needs, running 24/7 without guaranteed day or night shifts throughout the contract. Scrub color must be solid and professional.
