Become a vital part of a Hospital in Williston, ND as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images for adults and pediatric patients.


Minimum Requirements:

  • 2 years CT technologist experience.
  • Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology or equivalent.
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification. ARRT (R) with CT credential or ARRT (CT) preferred; candidates must meet CME requirements for CT.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA).
  • Experience using MEDITECH preferred.
  • Experience working with Philips CT scanners preferred (Philips 128-slice and 16-slice environment) and Bracco injectors preferred.
  • Experience performing adult and pediatric CT exams including stroke, CTA, trauma, abdominal, and neuro studies preferred.
  • Ability to wear and use a radiation badge.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced hospital CT department and follow department team scheduling practices.
  • Must meet client radius and affiliation restrictions: candidates may not have been full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity, within the past 12 months.


Assignment Details

  • Facility type: Hospital.
  • Shift: Days. Typical shift patterns include 12-hour coverage (examples used by the department: 7a–7p and 7p–7a for team scheduling).
  • Weekend requirement: Variable weekends; includes weekend day coverage and every other holiday scheduling.
  • Orientation: Department-specific orientation of three 12-hour shifts (12 total orientation hours noted).
  • Charting system: MEDITECH.
  • Department equipment: Primary Philips 128-slice CT with a Philips 16-slice backup and Bracco injectors.
  • Modality volume and types: High volume of outpatient CTs scheduled Monday–Friday 8a–5p; studies include stroke, STEMI, trauma, abdominal pain, head injury, kidney stone, and CTA for adults and pediatrics.
  • Coverage expectations: After-hours coverage may include x-ray coverage from 2330–0700 when required by volume.
  • Radiologist: No in-house staff radiologist; use of PACS and a Centralized Response Team Inquire System (CRTIS).
  • Cancellation policy: Facility may cancel shifts per their assignment policy (cancellation allowance noted by client).
