Position Overview
The Administrative Assistant will provide essential operational and clerical support to ensure efficient day-to-day administrative functions within a healthcare setting. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and clerical support to department staff and leadership
- Manage scheduling, calendars, and coordination of meetings
- Maintain accurate records, files, and documentation
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence professionally
- Assist with data entry, reporting, and document preparation
- Coordinate office workflows and support daily operations
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures
- Collaborate with team members to improve administrative processes
- Minimum of two (2) years of administrative support experience
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
- Experience in a healthcare setting
- Familiarity with medical terminology or healthcare systems
- Prior experience supporting clinical or administrative healthcare teams
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
