Travel Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - $2,250 to $2,350 per week in Columbus, OH

Shift Type: Rotating schedule including evenings and weekends: 2x8 shifts (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM) and 2x12 shifts (10:30 AM - 11:00 PM) with call required; weekend rotation and flexibility to cover assignments between 6:30 AM - 11:00 PM as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

• Scrub and assist during cardiovascular and thoracic procedures (CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, valve replacement, etc.) to ensure seamless operative flow
• Maintain aseptic technique and sterile field integrity for every case to protect patient safety
• Perform cardiovascular/thoracic instrument reprocessing and equipment documentation with attention to detail
• Serve as scrub and/or circulate as needed, including trauma Level I activations, to support high-acuity patients
• Chart accurately in EPIC and document case details, implants, and instrument counts
• Participate in call rotation and weekend coverage to provide continuous, high-quality surgical support
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiology, nursing, and tech teams to anticipate needs and improve outcomes

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required
• Minimum 5 years total CST experience (HARD STOP)
• At least 2 years dedicated cardiac & vascular experience
• Minimum 1 year CVOR experience
• Minimum 1 year experience in a Level I Trauma facility
• BLS certification required
• Experience with cardiovascular/thoracic instrument reprocessing and equipment documentation
• Familiarity with EPIC charting preferred
• Flexible availability for rotating schedules, weekends and on-call

• CVOR procedures: CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, valve replacements and other cardiac/vascular cases
• General OR, Thoracic and Vascular surgery workflows
• Scrub & circulate skills, crash cart management and emergency response
• Care and handling of specialized equipment: scopes, cell saver, electrosurgical units, fiber optic equipment
• Instrument reprocessing for cardiovascular/thoracic sets
• Equipment documentation and case cart prep
• Robotics, TAVR, VAD, transplant and advanced endovascular procedures (preferred/secondary skills)
