Job Title: Surgical Technologist/Operating Room Technician Profession: CST/ORT Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: N/A Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - ACLS - BLS - CVOR experience Description: General Comments: Unit Information: Number of Beds - 2 operating room suites. Number of Staff - 6 (3 RNs, 3 CSTs). Staff Type - All staff are day shift. Patient Ratios - 1:1. Type of Equipment - EMR Meditech. Typical Hiring Profile - Most recruited for specific skills. Candidates without required skills will not be considered for the role. Preferred or nice to have - Candidates with additional relevant skills will be considered first. Typical Procedures Performed Include: - CABG - Thoracotomy - Endo AAA - Valve Replacement - Pacemaker Best Personality Fit: Flexible, knowledgeable, and a self-starter. Floating Areas: Operating Room. Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire - Light blue, to be provided. Weekends and On Call: Weekday, weekend, and holiday call are required.
