Travel Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - $1,500 to $1,600 per week in Los Angeles, CA

Location: Los Angeles, CA
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
Shift: Night Shift (12-hour shifts, 3 days/week)
Pay Rate: $1,500 – $1,600 per week
Experience Required: Minimum 2 Years

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist (Surgical Tech) to join a healthcare facility in Los Angeles, CA. The Surgical Tech will play a critical role in the operating room by assisting surgeons and ensuring a sterile and efficient surgical environment.

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field for surgical procedures
• Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and supplies
• Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are sterilized and functioning properly
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team during procedures
• Perform surgical counts (sponges, needles, instruments) in accordance with protocol
• Prepare patients for surgery, including positioning and site preparation
• Handle specimens properly and ensure correct labeling
• Maintain compliance with infection control and safety standards
• Collaborate with nurses, surgeons, and anesthesia staff

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program
• Active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of Surgical Tech experience
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instrumentation, and sterile techniques
• Ability to work in a fast-paced operating room environment
