Job Description:

The Certified Surgical Tech (CST) will assist in the operating room, with responsibilities that include preparing and sterilizing the surgical area, passing instruments to the surgeon, and maintaining a sterile environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room for surgeries, ensuring all equipment and instruments are sterile and operational.
• Assist surgeons during operations with tasks such as passing instruments and maintaining a sterile environment.
• Participate in surgical procedures, focusing on general, hand, foot/ankle, sports medicine, total joint-robotics, and solid spine ortho.
• Utilize robotics including Mako, Rosa, and Cori systems.
• Adhere to on-call schedules and provide timely responses to call-ins, with a required 30-minute call back time.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CST or Surgical Tech, with experience in general surgery and specialized orthopedic procedures.
• Possession of NBSTSA certification preferred but not required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Ability to handle a very fast-paced surgical environment.
