Travel Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) - $56 per hour in Manahawkin, NJ

Shift Type: Sunday-Saturday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Day)

Hours per Week: 35

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

• Assess patients’ functional abilities and design individualized OT treatment plans
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve daily living and work skills
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care goals
• Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and home programs
• Document progress clearly and timely to support continuity of care
• Contribute to discharge planning and provide community resource recommendations

• Occupational Therapist: Active state OT license (or eligible to obtain)
• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA): Active COTA credential/registration
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
• Clinical experience in adult or rehab settings preferred; new grads with strong clinical rotations welcome to apply
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and documentation skills
• Willingness to work a seven-day coverage schedule as outlined

• Occupational Therapist: Master's (MOT) or Doctorate (OTD) from an accredited OT program
• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant: Associate degree from an accredited COTA program

• Skilled in ADL/IADL assessment and adaptive equipment recommendations
• Proficient with ergonomic and work-related interventions
• Strong clinical reasoning for individualized treatment planning
• Familiarity with outcome measurement tools and documentation standards
• Ability to engage patients and families in goal-directed therapy
