Job Title: Travel Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Rehab / Long-Term Care

Location: Newark, NY
Shift: Day Shift – 5x8 Hours (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Pay Rate: $21 – $26/hour

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join a Rehabilitation and Long-Term Care (LTC) setting. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients by assisting with daily living activities while ensuring their comfort, dignity, and safety in accordance with established care plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, feeding, and dressing
• Support patient mobility, including ambulation, transfers, and repositioning
• Monitor and document vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respirations, oxygen saturation)
• Provide incontinence and catheter care as required
• Assist with specimen collection, labeling, and transport
• Support the use of medical equipment such as wheelchairs, transfer devices, and specialty beds
• Adhere to infection control protocols, including proper use of PPE and isolation precautions
• Assist with dietary needs, including feeding support and monitoring intake

Required Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA preferred)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting
