Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist

Location: Houston, TX
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Evening Shift (4x10)

Pay Rate: $2,500 – $2,700 per week

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join a fast-paced cardiovascular team in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, ensuring patient safety and maintaining high standards of care in the cardiac catheterization lab.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, stent placements, and other interventional procedures

  • Prepare and operate specialized equipment such as hemodynamic monitors and imaging systems

  • Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes during procedures

  • Maintain a sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols

  • Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and site preparation

  • Administer contrast media and medications as directed

  • Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records

  • Ensure proper functioning, cleaning, and maintenance of Cath Lab equipment

Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a Cath Lab setting

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred/required

  • RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or ARRT certification preferred

  • Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and interventional procedures

  • Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
