Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Profession: Cardiac Cath Lab Technician Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required License: Active state license required Certifications: Relevant certifications required Must-Have: - Ability to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation. - On-call availability during the week from 3:30 PM to 7:00 AM and 24 hours every Saturday and Sunday. Description: This position involves working in the cardiac catheterization lab. The technician will assist in diagnostic and interventional procedures. Responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures, monitoring vital signs, and assisting physicians. The technician will also maintain and troubleshoot equipment used in the lab. A strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology is essential. Knowledge of sterile techniques and infection control practices is required. Collaboration with the healthcare team is vital for optimal patient care. Strong communication skills are necessary for interacting with patients and staff.
