Cardiovascular Technologist (Cath Lab/EP Lab) Part-Time with Full Benefits
Join a leading healthcare team as a Cardiovascular Technologist in a dynamic cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology lab. This part-time (50% FTE) role offers full benefits and involves supporting pre-, intra-, and post-procedural care for high-volume Electrophysiology/Cardiac Catheterization, structural heart, and vascular procedures. Enjoy variable shifts with flexibility for weekends, holidays, and on-call rotation across multiple medical center locations.
Key ResponsibilitiesScrub-in for surgical portions, circulate in the procedure room, and document on GE Mac/Cardio lab systems.
Perform independent radiological duties: operate radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment and troubleshoot as needed.
Uphold radiation safety protocols, train staff/fellows, and collaborate with Radiation Safety Officer.
Maintain equipment with Biomedical Engineers and manage supplies with Materials Management team.
Participate in on-call rotation, orient to all department areas, and support training for students/new hires.
2+ years as Radiologic Technician in Cardiac Cath/EP labs, OR/Hybrid OR, or Interventional Radiology labs (5-7 years total preferred).
California Certified Radiologic Technologist License (CRT).
American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification.
California State Fluoroscopy Permit.
American Heart Association BLS and ACLS.
RCIS certification preferred.
Associate's degree minimum; mid-senior level.
Flexible for variable shifts, multi-site work, weekends/holidays, and on-call.
Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills, reliability, and adaptability in acute care settings.
