Job Title: Cardiac Sonographer Profession: Allied Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours (8am-5pm, Monday-Friday) Experience: Minimum of 1 year as an Echo tech License: BLS Certifications: ARDMS (RDCS) Must-Have: Experience with outpatient and inpatient testing, including TTE, Nuc Med ECHO, TEE, pharmacologic stress testing, and bubble studies Description: Cardiac Sonographer position available. The facility specializes in cardiac care. The department averages 8-9 patients per day. First-time travelers are welcome. Daily responsibilities include conducting various echocardiographic procedures. Team members include RN, CMA, EKG technician, APP, and MD. Technology used includes EMR systems and specific ultrasound equipment. There is no weekend rotation or on-call requirement. The department culture is friendly, relaxed, and promotes good teamwork.
