Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Perform all duties as directed in accordance with PBNDS/ACA and ICE facility policy standards.
• Follow and abide by company polices and directives
• Respond to emergency situations, such as fires, facility disturbances, riots, etc.
• Prevent and detect contraband
• Prevent and detect escape attempts.
• Observe, prevent, and report all instances of disorder or non-compliance as directed by ICE and PPS policy and procedures
Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications
• Education Requirements: High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Level of Experience Requirements: 1 year of detention or security experience or a 2 year degree in related field
• CDL with Passenger Endorsements
• Must be able to obtain a security license
• Must be at least 21 years of age
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
• Knowledge of organizational procedures and workflows – understanding how work moves through a company.
• Basic knowledge of relevant technologies or tools – e.g., Microsoft 365, communication platforms, or industry‑standard software.
• Knowledge of customer service practices – principles of providing quality service and managing inquiries professionally.

• Communication skills (written and verbal) – ability to convey information clearly and professionally.

Necessary Physical Requirements
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. Essential job functions will require maintaining physical condition necessary for bending, stooping,
sitting, walking, or standing, and complex movements for prolonged periods of time.
Applicants must be able to perform through pat-down searches and be able to physically search
physical structures for contraband.
Applicants must be able to respond to emergency situations, such as fires and run for prolonged
distances with a fire extinguisher. Applicants must also be able to respond to physical disturbances
that are violent in nature. Applicant must be able to assist in quelling physical altercations, as well as
defending themselves from physical assault.

• Job is performed in a multitude of settings. There are various positions that could tentatively be performed on any given 8 – 12 hour day.
• Exposure to extreme climate temperatures and conditions

• Utilizing computers in offices or buildings

Supervisory Responsibilities
• This position will not have supervisory responsibilities.
DOT Covered/Safety-Sensitive Role Requirements
• This position is not subject to federal requirements regarding Department of Transportation “safety-sensitive” functions.
Additional Qualifying Factors
As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain and maintain the appropriate clearance levels required and must also be able to obtain access to military installations.
