About the Company

Transcor Recycling LLC is a leader in rail-served transloading, recycling, and aggregate processing, supporting major infrastructure, construction, and environmental projects throughout Florida.

We are expanding our rail and bulk material terminal operations and are seeking a Transloading Terminal Manager to take ownership of daily terminal performance, safety, equipment, and yard operations. This role is critical to ongoing rail expansion, terminal development, and long-term operational growth.


Position Overview

The Transloading Terminal Manager is the senior on-site operational leader, reporting directly to the Vice President. This is a hands-on field leadership role responsible for managing railcar movements, bulk material handling, yard crews, heavy equipment, safety compliance, inventory accuracy, and terminal productivity.

This role is ideal for leaders with experience in rail terminals, transloading facilities, construction yards, recycling operations, or bulk material environments who are comfortable running operations in the field and leading crews directly.

Long-term growth into senior operational leadership is expected.

Key Responsibilities

Terminal, Yard & Rail Operations

  • Oversee daily transloading operations, including railcar spotting, loading, unloading, and material flow

  • Lead yard supervisors and terminal crews with a focus on safety and productivity

  • Set daily operational goals and ensure efficient task execution

  • Coordinate all transloading activities with executive leadership

  • Oversee yard security and access control

Safety & Compliance

  • Promote and enforce a strong safety culture

  • Train employees on equipment, material handling, and site safety

  • Conduct weekly yard inspections and correct deficiencies

  • Maintain safety supplies and complete incident and near-miss reports

  • Ensure OSHA-compliant operations and proper housekeeping

Equipment & Railcar Management

  • Manage heavy equipment utilization and daily operating hours

  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance with shop and welding teams

  • Inspect railcars and document inbound/outbound loads (including drone photos)

  • Monitor fuel usage and implement cost-reduction strategies

  • Analyze equipment performance and operating costs

Inventory, Scale & Systems

  • Ensure accurate inventory tracking for all materials

  • Escalate discrepancies immediately to leadership

  • Ensure scale accuracy, calibration, and reporting

  • Utilize terminal software systems and learn control-point operations

Construction & Expansion Support

  • Support major infrastructure projects including rail line installation, silos, and terminal expansion

  • Assist with project coordination and execution in active operating environments

Accounting, Purchasing & Budget Support

  • Track operational costs and identify savings opportunities

  • Review AP invoices for accuracy and coding

  • Create purchase orders and source competitive pricing

  • Assist with budget development and ongoing cost control


What You Need to Succeed

  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook/Exchange, and operational software

  • Comfortable working outdoors in an active rail yard or terminal environment

Required Qualifications (Unchanged)

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in:

    • Construction industry

    • Recycling industry

    • Railroad or transloading operations

  • Experience reading and interpreting plans

  • Project management experience

  • Proven experience leading teams

  • Experience managing operations, equipment, and/or yard functions

  • Ability to support sales and business development initiatives
