Transcriptionist

Job Description: Transcriptionist at AmeriHealth Hospice

Job Responsibilities:

• Transcribe medical documents, including patient histories, exam reports, diagnostic findings, and other medical reports
• Ensure accuracy and confidentiality in transcribing sensitive patient information
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify any unclear dictation or terminology
• Organize and maintain medical records in a systematic and efficient manner
• Adhere to all legal and ethical standards in medical transcription

Essential Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a medical transcriptionist or similar role
• Excellent typing skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection regulations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
