Role Overview

Initio Sphere is onboarding Transaction Advisory Coaches to provide high-level advisory, operational, and transactional guidance to fund managers, investors, and deal sponsors.

This is not a traditional employment role. Coaches operate as independent contractors, activated through a verification and approval process.

Once approved, Transaction Advisory Coaches:

  • Advise on deal structuring, capital raising, fund formation, and operational strategy

  • Mentor analysts and deal scouts on transaction execution and diligence

  • Access curated deal flow, earning opportunities, and platform-driven exposure

  • Build a verified Coach Track Record within the Initio Sphere ecosystem

This role is ideal for experienced operators, ex-investment bankers, fund managers, or senior consultants with a proven record of leading capital transactions, structuring deals, or advising investment initiatives.


What You’ll Do (Approval-Based)

Approved Coaches may:

  • Advise fund managers on capital strategy, LP engagement, and deal execution planning

  • Support deal sponsors with structuring, diligence oversight, and negotiation strategy

  • Mentor analysts and deal scouts on modeling, diligence, and transaction execution

  • Provide portfolio advisory, operational insights, and value creation guidance

  • Participate in curated introductions with institutional investors or co-investors

Transaction Advisory Coaches focus on strategic deal guidance and relationship-driven transaction activation. They do not handle day-to-day modeling unless approved.


Eligible Advisory Areas

  • Fund formation, capital raising, and LP communications

  • Deal structuring, investment committee support, and transaction strategy

  • Operational or portfolio company advisory

  • Mentorship and technical training for analysts and scouts

  • Investor relations and network strategy

Approval is granted based on experience, track record, and demonstrated ability to advise on real transactions.


Compensation & Deal Economics

  • Independent contractor arrangement

  • Hourly rates: $200–$500, based on experience, track record, and engagement scope

  • Transaction-based incentives may be earned for advisory on closed deals

  • Payments issued after completion of advisory milestones or deal closure

  • No cap on earning potential for consistently high-value contributions

  3. Get promoted within the Initio Sphere platform

  4. Begin working with funds, sponsors, analysts, and scouts on approved engagements
