TRC supports a wide range of trailer brands and yellow iron equipment through quality control, maintenance, repairs, and custom modifications. We don’t build trailers or heavy equipment from scratch. We keep equipment road-ready, jobsite-ready, and done right.
If you can look at a trailer or a structure and can diagnose and spot a current or future problem, if you take pride in clean welds and safe repairs, and if you don’t need someone hovering to stay productive, you’ll fit in here.
What you’ll be doing: Trailer system repairs and troubleshooting, including:

What you’ll be doing: Trailer system repairs and troubleshooting, including:
- Electrical
- Air systems
- Hydraulics
- Suspension
- Floors, doors, ramps.
- Basic finish and paint touch-ups when needed.
- Quality control inspections: diagnose issues, recommend the right fix, and execute it.
- MIG and TIG welding on aluminum, stainless, and carbon steel.
- Structural repairs and reinforcements (frames, crossmembers, brackets, mounts).
- Custom fabrication and modifications based on customer needs.
- Work from drawings, sketches, verbal instructions, and real-world conditions.
- Keep the shop and yard safe, clean, and OSHA-compliant.
Requirements:
- Hands-on trailer or heavy equipment experience.
- 5+ years of continuous welding/fabrication experience (aluminum and steel).
- Strong TIG and MIG skills.
- Comfortable working independently and solving problems without hand-holding.
- Able to lift 80+ lbs and safely use fabrication tools/equipment.
Nice to have (not required):
- AWS or equivalent welding certifications.
- Strong experience across multiple trailer brands and configurations.
- Experience with larger structural work or equipment assembly/rigging.
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Every other Saturday: 8:00 AM–2:00 PM
Pay and benefits:
- Hourly pay based on experience and capability.
- Company pays 100% of dental and vision after 90 days.
- Health insurance after 90 days.
- Up to 15 days PTO + 5 paid holidays annually.
