Trailer Repair Technician Job Description:

PrideStaff is working with a local travel trailer repair facility who is seeking a Trailer Repair Technician. The Trailer Repair Technician will perform a variety of repair needs for customers including electrical, gas, water tanks, hydraulic, brakes, tires, suspension systems, cabinetry, and custom needs. The ideal Trailer Repair Technician has previous experience working on RV’s, automotive, and or boats to repair, replace, or customize features with solid knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems. The Trailer Repair Technician position is a full-time, temp-to-hire position in Sacramento, CA.

Trailer Repair Technician Job Responsibilities:

  • Inspect Trailer to Determine Repair Needs

  • Fix Plumbing, Gas, Electrical, & Hydraulic Systems

  • Repair or Replace Structural Components, Cabinetry, Appliances, Holding Tanks, Water Heaters & HVAC Units as Needed

  • Perform Welding, Repair Brakes, Tires, & Suspension to Meet Safety Standards

  • Install New Components, Accessories, & Customized Features

  • Test All Systems to Ensure Proper Functionality

  • Follow All PPE & Safety Guidelines

Trailer Repair Technician Job Requirements & Working Conditions:

  • High School Diploma Required

  • Previous Experience With RV Repairs, Automotive or Boat Restoration, Manufacturing or Maintenance Required

  • Must be Proficient in Electrical Systems (12V & 120V AC Systems), Plumbing, Carpentry, & Basic Welding

  • Must Have Experience With Hand & Power Tools Including Diagnostic Equipment

  • Must be Able to Lift up to 50lbs

  • Must Have an Eye For Detail & Deliver Quality Work

  • Cannot be afraid of heights in order to work on top of trailer
