Salary Range: $68,000 - $107,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures.
- Analyze and troubleshoot tooling-related production issues to improve efficiency and quality.
- Manage tooling maintenance, repair, and replacement schedules to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with design, production, and quality teams to integrate new tooling and processes.
- Evaluate and select appropriate materials and manufacturing methods for tooling components.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives for tooling design and manufacturing processes.
- Conduct cost analysis and project management for new tooling projects.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA) for tool design and simulation.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, injection molding, stamping, or casting.
- Experience with tool material selection, heat treatment, and surface finishes.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot tooling issues and implement corrective actions to improve performance and longevity.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with additive manufacturing (3D printing) for tooling applications.
- Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
- Proficiency in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software for tool design validation.
- Working knowledge of automation and robotics integration in manufacturing processes.
