Salary Range: $71,000 - $110,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and modify manufacturing tooling, dies, molds, and fixtures.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for tooling failures and issues.
• Manage tooling maintenance, repair, and preventative maintenance schedules to ensure operational readiness.
• Collaborate with design, production, and quality teams to optimize tooling performance and product manufacturability.
• Support new product introductions by developing and validating new tooling solutions and processes.
• Analyze manufacturing processes to identify and implement tooling-related improvements for efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
• Specify and procure tooling materials, components, and equipment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
• 3+ years experience in tooling design, fabrication, and maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for tooling design.
• Strong understanding of GD&T, material science, and various manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, injection molding, stamping).
• Proven ability to troubleshoot tooling issues and implement continuous improvement solutions.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with advanced simulation software (e.g., Moldflow, FEA) for tool design and optimization.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in Additive Manufacturing (3D printing) for prototyping or tooling components.
• Project management experience on complex tooling initiatives.
