Tool and Die Maker

We're partnering with a company looking for a Tool and Die Maker to support internal Tool Room operations.

• 5+ years of tool making experience OR 2+ years experience with a trade school or apprenticeship

• Solid background in manual machining with proficiency in:

  • Hardinge Lathes

  • Bridgeport Mill

  • Manual Surface Grinders

• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints

• Experience working with or repairing fixtures , tools , and machine components

• Willingness to support low-mix, high-volume production work about 30% of the time

• Ability to bring a basic set of tools (company will provide additional tooling)

• Exposure to AutoCAD or SolidWorks

• Education or apprenticeship in Manufacturing Technology , Tool & Die , or a related field

• Self-starter with the ability to identify problems and offer solutions without heavy supervision
