Currently, they have a great opportunity for a talented and motivated TIG Welder to join their team!

Welders are responsible for fitting and welding steel, aluminum and stainless steel parts using a MIG and/or TIG process and also to ensure each job is run with safety, accuracy and within timeliness in the welding area

What will you do?

• Set up welding machines based on the job at hand or using a Welding Procedure Specification
• Read and interpret blueprints and/or drawings to determine the specific welding requirements
• Weld components/materials based on the specifications of the blueprints and/or drawings
• Assemble items as instructed by floor supervisor
• Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities.
• Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task.
• Follow all safety rules and quality standards
• Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency
• Prepare product for shipment

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2-5 years TIG welding experience.
• Proficient with various gauges and measuring devices
• Ability to read and interpret prints
• Strong understanding of dimensions and tolerances
• Strong understanding of material properties
• Attentive to all safety precautions when operating machines.
