Social Media & Content Manager

The Social Order | Oklahoma City, OK

The Social Order is seeking a creative, fast-moving Social Media & Content Manager to lead day-to-day content creation and social media management for some of Oklahoma City’s most recognizable hospitality brands.

This role will primarily support The Social Order, The Jones Assembly, and Spark, with the potential to expand across additional concepts as the company continues to grow.

We are looking for someone who thrives in an energetic environment, is excited to be on-site capturing content in real time, and understands how to create engaging social media that reflects the energy of live music, restaurants, and community events. In addition to content creation, this role will also help monitor performance metrics and contribute to ongoing growth across our social media platforms.

This is not a traditional 9–5 desk job. Our brands come to life during evenings, weekends, concerts, and events, and we need someone to capture it!

The Social Media & Content Manager will report directly to the Director of Communications and work closely with the marketing team to execute content strategies that elevate our brands.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Social Media Management

  • Create and publish content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and X
  • Capture engaging photo and video content on-site at restaurants, concerts, and events
  • Produce short-form video content (Reels, TikTok) aligned with social trends
  • Write captions and manage daily posting schedules
  • Maintain brand voice and visual consistency across all platforms

Event & On-Site Coverage

  • Attend and capture content at the majority of events hosted at The Jones Assembly and other Social Order concepts
  • Create real-time and post-event social media content
  • Identify content opportunities during concerts, activations, and brand partnerships

Creative Development

  • Concept and execute creative content ideas that drive engagement and visibility
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends, formats, and platform updates
  • Collaborate with internal teams to promote events, menu launches, and special activations

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Track and analyze social media performance across platforms, including post engagement, reach, impressions, and follower growth
  • Prepare monthly social media reports that summarize performance, highlight top-performing content, and identify opportunities for growth
  • Use insights and analytics to help inform future content strategy and improve overall engagement

Paid Social Support

  • Assist with the execution and monitoring of Meta (Facebook & Instagram) ads to support events, promotions, and brand initiatives
  • Work with the marketing team to boost key posts and campaigns when appropriate

Content Organization & Workflow

  • Manage content calendars and planning timelines
  • Organize assets within shared systems
  • Collaborate with the marketing team using Slack, Google Drive, Asana, and Canva

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of social media or digital content experience
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
  • Proven experience creating engaging short-form video content
  • Highly proficient in iPhone-based content creation
  • DSLR photography experience is strongly preferred but not required
  • Comfortable working on-site in a fast-paced hospitality environment
  • Ability to capture content independently
  • Excellent time management and ability to move quickly between projects
  • Experience analyzing social media analytics and performance metrics
  • Ability to translate engagement data and insights into actionable content improvements
  • Familiarity with Meta Ads Manager and basic paid social promotion is preferred
  • Experience in restaurants, hospitality, nightlife, or events is a plus

Schedule Expectations

This role requires a flexible schedule that aligns with events and programming.

Candidates should expect:

  • Frequent evening and weekend work
  • On-site coverage of concerts, events, and activations
  • A schedule that flexes depending on the week’s programming

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys being in the middle of the action rather than behind a desk.

Application Requirements

Please submit:

  • Resume
  • Portfolio or examples of social media content
