Job Description:

Core Technologies: Kubernetes, Istio, Envoy, Golang, C++, gRPC, Docker
Cloud Platforms: AWS, GCP, Azure
Technical Concepts: Microservices architecture, distributed systems, networking (TCP/IP, mTLS), observability (metrics, tracing, logging)
Tooling: CI/CD systems, automation, scripting
Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, excellent written and verbal communication, effective collaboration, and ability to work autonomously

Responsibilities

• Product Engineering:
  Design, develop, and enhance features for a cloud‑native service management platform across both the control plane (APIs, security, observability) and the data plane (Envoy‑based components).
• Kubernetes & Service Mesh:
  Build, maintain, and optimize enterprise‑grade Istio and Envoy deployments, ensuring reliability, performance, and seamless integration across complex environments.
• Distributed Systems Development:
  Contribute to the architecture and implementation of scalable, secure, and highly available distributed platforms supporting mission‑critical applications, focusing on networking, consistency, and system reliability.
• Cloud-Native Ecosystem Integration:
  Integrate platform components with major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and on‑prem environments, leveraging cloud‑specific capabilities such as VPC networking, load balancers, and managed Kubernetes services.
• DevOps & SRE Practices:
  Apply automation, CI/CD best practices, and scripting (Python, Bash) to improve deployment workflows, operational efficiency, and platform stability.
• Customer & Community Engagement:
  Work closely with customers to diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges, provide domain expertise, and contribute to open‑source ecosystems such as Istio and Envoy.
