Responsibilities:
- Perform functional, performance, and environmental tests on electronic components and assemblies.
- Assist in developing test procedures, test plans, and documentation for new and existing products.
- Operate and maintain lab/test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and multimeters.
- Record and analyze test data to identify trends, issues, or performance concerns.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions related to test failures or product defects.
- Work closely with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve technical issues.
- Maintain detailed and accurate test records, logs, and reports.
- Follow safety and ESD protocols in the lab environment.
Requirements:
- Familiarity with basic circuit identification and troubleshooting , electrical analysis, ability to us a multimeter
- Electrical and electronic principles: Understanding of circuit analysis, electronics, and electrical systems.
- Measurement and testing: Familiarity with measurement instruments, testing equipment, and methodologies.
- Troubleshooting: Ability to identify and resolve problems with test equipment and systems.
- Basic understanding of analog and digital circuit principles.
- Familiarity with reading schematics, datasheets, and test documentation.
- Hands-on experience with electronic test equipment in a lab or academic setting.
- Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well both independently and in a team setting.
- Experience with automated test systems or scripting languages (e.g., Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB).
- Exposure to PCB-level debugging and soldering/rework techniques.
- Knowledge of product compliance testing (EMC, safety, thermal).
- Familiarity with manufacturing test processes and test fixtures.
- Understanding of industry standards (IPC, ISO, MIL-STD, etc.).
- Must have dedicated testing experience
