Overview:

Join our team in Durham, NC, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards. As part of our dynamic team, you will monitor, assemble, improve, and manipulate products to ensure they are defect-free. Collaborate with fellow Technicians and Engineers using our state-of-the-art equipment and test procedures to maintain product excellence.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Perform complex tasks related to test and debug trouble analysis and repair of test fixtures for all test stations.
  • Assist the Test Engineer in setting up test areas and methods.
  • Work from and interpret schematics, logic drawings, test procedures, prints, sketches, or verbal instructions.
  • Contribute to writing new test procedures alongside Test Engineers.
  • Recommend new methods or changes in test methods or equipment for efficient and economic testing of systems, sub-assemblies, or modules.
  • Prepare verbal or written reports of tests and work performed.
  • Train manufacturing operators or technicians on operating testers on the manufacturing floor.
  • Maintain all tester equipment on the manufacturing floor.

Skills/Requirements:

  • A.A./Certificate/B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in electronic testing, debugging, or tester setup.
  • English proficiency required.
  • Reading comprehension for schematics and assembly drawings.
  • Knowledge of volt ohmmeters, digital meters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, microcomputers, calipers, and assorted electronic and microcomputer-controlled test equipment.
