Our client, a leader in advanced hardware manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated Test Engineering Technician to join their team. As a Test Technician, you will be an integral part of the Manufacturing Operations department supporting the development and testing of innovative sensors and compute hardware. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully within the organization.

Pay Range: $40/h + Benefits

What's the Job?

  • Set up, execute, and debug tests on sensors and compute hardware to ensure high performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams during prototype testing and provide expert input during design review meetings.
  • Work closely with engineers to optimize product manufacturability and perform final testing of assemblies and components.
  • Conduct failure analysis, repair assemblies, and generate detailed reports to support continuous improvement.
  • Create and review test instructions, troubleshoot engineering prototype units, and maintain calibration of test equipment and lab tools.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's Degree in electrical, electronics, mechanical technology (Preferred) or an equivalent field with 4 to 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience reading electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
  • Proficiency with EE lab equipment such as digital multimeters, power supplies, and oscilloscopes.
  • Experience assembling and repairing wiring harnesses.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
