Vibration Test Engineer

Location: Dayton, Ohio Area
Work Schedule: Onsite – 100% (Candidates must currently reside in the local area)

Position Overview

A client in the Dayton, Ohio area is seeking a Vibration Test Engineer to support aircraft propeller vibration testing programs. This role is responsible for evaluating compatibility between aircraft propellers and engines through structured testing and analysis.

The engineer will assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of vibration testing activities, including determining instrumentation requirements, managing testing logistics, collecting and analyzing data, and documenting test results.

This is a hands-on engineering role that works closely with testing teams to ensure accurate data collection and effective evaluation of propeller and engine performance.

Required Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering Technology

• A&P Certificate required for candidates with an Aerospace Engineering Technology degree

• Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting flight testing programs

• Pilot experience or familiarity with general aviation aircraft

• Experience with electronic instrumentation or data acquisition systems
