We are seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer to implement and maintain cost-effective testing and troubleshooting methods for electronic systems, software, and equipment. This role is ideal for candidates with strong technical expertise in high-tech electronics manufacturing who are passionate about improving test processes, increasing yield, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced production environment.

Job Duties:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain test methods for electronic products, systems, and software
  • Direct and coordinate technical personnel in the design and fabrication of test equipment and control systems
  • Determine test conditions, sequences, and operational phases for production testing
  • Analyze and interpret test data; prepare detailed technical reports for engineering and leadership teams
  • Troubleshoot product/system malfunctions and resolve incomplete or inconsistent test results
  • Perform root cause analysis on test yield issues and implement corrective action plans
  • Develop or modify test programs using languages such as C++, LabVIEW, Lab Windows, or similar platforms
  • Design and support functional test hardware, fixtures, instrumentation, and system interfaces
  • Support Design for Testability (DFT) analysis and fault-grade evaluations
  • Train and mentor technicians and operators on test hardware, software, and problem-solving techniques
  • Coordinate third-party test development activities when required

Specialized Experience May Include:
  • In-Circuit Testing (ICT): Test program development, fixture analysis, DFT, fault-grade analysis
  • Functional Testing: Instrument driver development, card-edge diagnostics, test plan development
  • Environmental Stress Screening (ESS): Environmental test profiles, failure analysis, interface development
  • Systems & Software Testing: System-level diagnostics, software test plan development, data interpretation

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent technical experience)
  • Typically requires 4+ years of experience in test engineering within high-technology electronics manufacturing
  • Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across hardware and software systems
  • Strong understanding of the full test lifecycle and manufacturing test processes
  • Ability to analyze scientific and technical documentation and write detailed reports
  • Proficiency applying advanced mathematical and statistical concepts (ANOVA, sampling theory, correlation techniques, reliability analysis)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across engineering, production, and leadership teams
