Job Title: Temporary to Permanent Logistics Associate
Location: Huntsville, Alabama
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent Contract
Duration: 6+ months then convert to permanent employee
Reports To: Logistics Team Lead
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Temporary to Permanent Logistics Associate to support our warehouse operations. This role will assist with inbound shipments, outbound orders, and product packing to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders
Accurately pick and pack products for outbound shipments based on customer orders
Prepare and label packages for domestic and international shipping
Assist with loading and unloading trucks
Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies
Ensure all materials are handled safely and stored properly
Keep work areas clean and organized in compliance with safety standards
Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure operational efficiency
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics role preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Familiarity with shipping software and barcode scanners a plus
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Flexibility to work overtime or adjust hours based on operational needs
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
