Job Details
Jobot is partnering with a growing international organization who's seeking a temporary to hire Staff Accountant. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for the following:
- Manage the accounting transactions in accordance with IFRS for Group reporting and US GAAP local statutory reporting.
- Work with Finance manager & local finance team to prepare monthly cash flow forecasts. Prepare payment consolidation for Head office, create beneficiary and load payment on banking portal.
- Management of the end of month process to ensure all journals are posted and balance sheet reconciliations are completed in accordance with Group timetable.
- Filing and reconciliation of country tax returns, ensure that payments are made within the prescribed deadline.
- Post banking transactions on the ERP system daily.
- Recording of Intercompany transactions and reconciliation.
- Verify and process expatriate expense claims in accordance with current policies including recording of monthly RAMP transactions.
- Extract trial balances and general ledger listings as and when required on the ERP system
- Manage the annual audit process in accordance with the Group and statutory timelines including assisting with the internal and external audit.
- Keeping lease schedules up to date as per IFRS 16.
- liaising with the local finance teams and different departments to resolve issues arising
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Other duties as directed.
If you have at least 2+ years of full cycle, progressive accounting experience, Bachelors in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred), excellent working knowledge of GAAP and IFRS (preferred), possess great organizational skills and keen attention to detail, outstanding communication skills and enjoy working in a diverse and fast paced, collaborative environment than this could be an excellent opportunity for you.
