Required Skills:
- Proven ability to perform clinical tasks such as vital signs, injections, venipuncture, EKGs, PFTs, and immunizations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to greet patients and liaise with healthcare staff
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
- Proficient in using electronic medical records and other healthcare IT systems
- Sound understanding of infection control and patient confidentiality protocols
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working across multiple physician practices
- Knowledge of insurance verification, billing, and patient registration
- Bilingual capabilities are advantageous
Preferred Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience as a Medical Assistant or similar clinical support role is preferred
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (e.g., CMA, RMA) is a plus
Other Requirements:
- Must hold valid certifications/licenses as applicable
- Flexibility to work the scheduled days, with potential for additional shifts
- Ability to handle some travel reimbursements, as needed
