Telecom Central Office Equipment Installers Level III & IV's

Positions needed: Nationwide
Pay: Based on experience

Summary:

Installation Technicians will be responsible for work sites as assigned. Daily tasks will align to ensure that the customer is receiving top quality service that is on the prescribed timeline. They will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

Duties:

• Install of Telecom Site Build-out (Relay Racks, Ladder Rack, Overhead Grid, Etc.), Transport Equipment, DC power plant and required cabling.
• Read, interpret, and implement job specifications.
• Assemble frames, superstructure and miscellaneous hardware, as directed.
• Label and stencil equipment and cabling per customer standards.
• Install and prepare basic DC, Coax and Fiber Cabling.
• Run, Stitch, Lace and terminate cabling
• Maintain satisfactory quality and performance levels.
• Practice safe work habits.
• Timely and accurate completion of necessary operations paperwork (e.g. expense reports, time sheets, job documentation, etc.)
• Provide daily job status reports as requested.
• May be required to assume responsibility for successful completion of basic installation projects.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Good manual dexterity.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools.
• Ability to read simple mechanical drawings.
• Ability to work independently and with others.
• Ability to climb and work on a ladder.
• Professional appearance and manner.
• Good customer service and administrative skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle for travel to job sites.
• Ability to travel extensively (including overnight) both locally and nationwide.
• Prior Central Office Equipment Installation experience required.
• Basic computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook and MS Word) required.
• Lift, push, pull 50 lbs if required.
• Ability to pass drug and criminal background and motor vehicle screening.
