We are seeking an experienced DevOps Architect with strong Security (DevSecOps) expertise to design, implement, and govern secure DevOps practices, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and application security architecture. This role will collaborate with engineering, cloud, security, and operations teams to ensure secure, highly available, and scalable systems across cloud and onpremise environments.
Key Responsibilities
DevOps Architecture
Architect and manage endtoend CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions.
Lead automation of build, deployment, testing, and infrastructure provisioning.
Define DevOps standards, reusable frameworks, and best practices.
Oversee containerization and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, AKS/EKS/GKE.
Implement logging, monitoring, and observability using ELK/EFK, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, etc.
Security Architecture (DevSecOps)
Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelinesSAST, DAST, SCA, IA scans, container scanning.
Define secure coding standards, security reviews, and architecture governance.
Lead threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and application security design.
Implement secrets management, API security, encryption, and identity controls.
Drive adoption of Zero Trust, least privilege, and secure cloud design patterns.
Cloud Architecture & Security
Design secure, scalable cloud solutions on Azure/AWS/GCP.
Implement cloud security controls such as IAM, MFA, network segmentation, encryption, and compliance baselines.
Monitor and enforce cloud posture via CSPM, CWPP, and security automation.
Develop IaC using Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates, Pulumi.
Governance, Compliance & Risk
Create security standards, policies, and guidelines for DevOps and engineering teams.
Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, SOC2, NIST, CIS Benchmarks, GDPR, or client-specific regulations.
Lead incident response efforts for cloud, infrastructure, and application-level security issues.
Collaboration & Leadership
Work closely with application, infrastructure, and security teams.
Mentor DevOps engineers and provide architectural guidance.
Communicate risks, solutions, and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, cloud architecture, or security roles.
Strong experience with CI/CD, automation, DevSecOps tools, and scripting (Python/Bash/PowerShell).
Expertise in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
Solid knowledge of application security fundamentals, encryption, IAM, and network security.
Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and IaC frameworks.
Familiarity with modern security tooling: SAST, DAST, SCA, container scanning, secrets vaults.
