Technician - Pharmacy PD Variable

JOB SUMMARY:  The Pharmacy Technician, under the direct supervision of the pharmacist, participates in the processing of patient medication orders to facilitate the prompt and accurate delivery of medications to patients.  The Pharmacy Technician has primary responsibility in drug distribution, maintaining appropriate patient records and charges, purchasing, and inventory control.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. Current State of California Technician License.
2. High school diploma or equivalent
3. One year of acute care hospital experience (preferred)
4. BCLS Card (AHA) current and maintain.
