Our Client, an Aerospace and Defense company, is looking for a Technician for their Niagara Falls, NY location.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Performs a variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly tasks in support of specific production units, developmental or prototype requirements in product development, manufacturing engineering or preproduction operations where documentation and guidance may be limited.
  • May perform modifications, rework and quality testing.
  • Work typically includes interaction with development and/or manufacturing engineering personnel.
 
Requirements:
  • Experience in using a Microscope to assemble components.
  • Experience with visual acuity in working with microscopes.
  • Experience with miniature precision devices and components.
  • Precise hand / eye coordination.
  • Technical and detailed by nature.
  • Able to adapt to changing part conditions.
  • Able to adapt to various detailed part inconsistencies.
  • Experience working in an ISO/clean room environment.
  • Experience in using a Microscope to assemble miniature parts into assemblies
  • IPC J-STD-001 solder certification.
  • Experience in the below job functions and /or skills, would be a great candidate match:
  • SMT (Surface Mount Technology), rework, repair, assembly
  • PCB Rework, assembly
  • Medical Device Assembly
  • Jewelry Making
  • Watch Repair
  • Prefer candidates that have performed these type of jobs in some capacity under a microscope but willing to entertain candidates with the above past work if they have a solid history of this type of work without microscopes as long as they are willing to work under microscopes as this position will.
