Technical Writer (Scientific)

Job Title: Technical Writer
Location (On-site, Remote, or Hybrid?): Plymouth, MN (onsite)
Contract Duration: Contract until 12/31/2026
Working hours: 8:00AM - 5:00PM
Total hours: 40


Role Expectations
• Support extensive laboratory testing activities.
• Ensure comprehensive documentation of:
o Test execution
o Study plans
o Study reports
o Statistical interpretations
• Manage documents through a formal document control process.
• Produce clear, well formatted, high quality technical documentation.
Required/Preferred Skills
• No need to be a statistics expert, but ability to interpret data is a bonus.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, communications, or related fields preferred. Master’s degree okay.
• Comfortable guiding others in documentation best practices.
• Technical writing experience is strongly valued.
• Knowledge of document control systems.
• Experience with regulatory submissions (preferred).
• Biomedical or engineering documentation experience (preferred but not required).
• Ability to multitask across multiple projects.
• Strong communication skills and technical understanding.
