This is a hybrid Technical Product Analyst/Scrum Master role focused on leading Agile delivery while also performing deep technical and business analysis. The person acts as both a servant leader for the Scrum team and a bridge between business and technology, ensuring requirements are clearly defined, prioritized, and delivered efficiently. The role is highly collaborative, working with Product Owners, developers, architects, and enterprise Agile leadership (RTE) to drive predictable, high-quality outcomes in a SAFe Agile environment.

Description:
The Technical Product Analyst/Scrum Master is a hybrid role responsible for driving Agile delivery execution while performing deep technical and process analysis for Membership initiatives. This role partners closely with Product Owners, Architects, Developers, and the Release Train Engineer (RTE) to ensure predictable delivery, high-quality outcomes, and alignment to PI objectives.

The role blends Scrum Master servant leadership with hands-on technical/project analysis, enabling teams to translate business and architectural needs into well-defined, prioritized, and executable backlog items while continuously improving delivery flow.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Scrum Master for an Agile team
  • Facilitate all Agile ceremonies including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Reviews, Retrospectives, and System Demos.
  • Coach teams on Scrum and SAFe practices, fostering self-organization and continuous improvement.
  • Identify, track, and remove or escalate impediments and risks impacting delivery.
  • Support PI Planning, ART syncs, and coordination with other teams and Shared Services.
  • Partner with the Release Train Engineer (RTE) to ensure teams meet PI Objectives and commitments.
  • Apply Agile project management practices to scope, schedule, dependency management, risk and issue tracking, and delivery metrics and forecasting.
  • Track and report team performance, velocity, and delivery health.
  • Represent the team in cross-team delivery forums (e.g., Scrum of Scrums / ART syncs) and enhance communication channels to reduce dependencies and improve flow.
  • Partner with architecture/platform stakeholders to keep work aligned to enterprise direction and operational decisions.
  • Perform technical and functional analysis of business requirements, system workflows, APIs, and data integrations related to Pega platform and S3 microservices.
  • Collaborate with Product Owner and Business Systems Analysts to create, refine, and prioritize product backlogs, ensuring stories are clear, testable, and ready.
  • Analyze dependencies, scope, risks, and impacts across teams and systems.
  • Review epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria, providing critical feedback to ensure quality.
  • Serve as liaison between business stakeholders, architecture, and delivery teams, translating needs into technical solutions.
  • Drive initiatives to improve flow, quality, and predictability.
  • Mentor team members on Agile principles and best practices.
  • Contribute to ART-level improvements and cross-team alignment.
  • Promote transparency, accountability, and a culture of continuous learning.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience serving as a Scrum Master for technology delivery teams and enabling reliable execution through Agile discipline.
  • Strong capability in technical/process analysis: translating ambiguous needs into clear backlog items and supporting end-to-end delivery.
  • Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years experience in Agile delivery roles, with Scrum Master and/or Technical Analyst experience.
  • Strong understanding of SAFe Agile, Scrum, and Lean principles.
  • Experience working with technical teams (APIs, integrations, data flows, cloud or service-based architectures).
  • Proven ability to analyze complex systems and translate requirements into executable backlog items.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), CSM, or equivalent Agile certification.
  • Prior experience supporting enterprise-scale transformation programs.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar Agile lifecycle tools.
  • Experience operating in matrixed, distributed teams.
