Technical Operations Support Assistant

STS Technical Services is hiring Technical Operations Support Assistants to support aviation-related technical operations in Jamaica, New York. This is a temporary assignment supporting the Technical Operations Sales team at JFK, focused on aircraft part documentation, organization, and records management. Four positions are available.

Position Overview

As a Technical Operations Support Assistant, you will provide critical administrative and documentation support by reviewing, organizing, and uploading aircraft part records into internal systems. This role plays an important part in ensuring documentation accuracy, completeness, and compliance during the aircraft parts sales process.

Key Responsibilities

• Pull and review paperwork related to aircraft parts being prepared for sale
• Organize, scan, and prepare documentation for upload
• Upload documents to SharePoint, FTP sites, and other internal platforms
• Work closely with Analysts to ensure all required records are complete and accurate
• Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
• Communicate with team members to resolve missing or incomplete documentation
• Assist with additional administrative tasks to support Technical Operations as needed

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and Microsoft Outlook
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Previous administrative, records, or document management experience preferred
• Familiarity with aviation or technical operations is a plus, but not required
