Technical Business Systems Analyst II
Location: Mossville, IL (On?Site, Full Time)
Duration: 12?month contract
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $34-$37 an hr
Position Overview
We are seeking a Technical Business Systems Analyst II to support product development processes and tools within a cross?functional, global environment. This role focuses on analyzing business and technical requirements, supporting system enhancements, and collaborating with engineering, IT, and business stakeholders to improve efficiency, quality, and data visibility across product development applications.
This position is fully on?site and plays a key role in supporting practitioners through process deployment, system enhancements, testing, and training.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and document business and technical requirements from internal stakeholders and translate them into functional specifications for development teams
- Collaborate with cross?functional teams to support the development, deployment, testing, and training of product development processes and tools
- Analyze workflows, system capabilities, and data to identify improvement opportunities and support process optimization
- Coordinate with IT, developers, and system owners to ensure enhancements align with business needs
- Prepare cost?benefit and return?on?investment analyses to support system and process decisions
- Support data analysis, processing, and visualization activities to provide insights into application usage and performance
- Assist in coordinating system compatibility and data sharing across platforms
- Provide ongoing support to users and practitioners, addressing issues that may not be immediately apparent
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
- 2–4 years of relevant experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a similar technical role
- Strong analytical, problem?solving, and critical?thinking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
- Working knowledge of software and data tools such as SQL, Java, Visual Basic, or similar technologies
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting product development or engineering processes
- Familiarity with requirements management, FMEA, or APQP processes
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI
- Exposure to off?highway, automotive, or aerospace product development environments
