We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Tax Senior to join our elite team in the Accounting + Finance industry. This is a unique opportunity to bring your expertise to a high-performing team and work with a diverse portfolio of clients, focusing on high net worth individuals, S-Corporations, and Federal & State Tax matters. Responsibilities:
As a Tax Senior, you will play a pivotal role in our organization. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Managing and executing tax projects, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws.
2. Preparing and reviewing complex tax returns for high net worth individuals, corporations, and partnerships.
3. Advising clients on tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize savings.
4. Researching and interpreting tax legislation to provide accurate advice to clients.
5. Assisting with the preparation of 1120S, real estate tax, gift tax filings, and other related tax documents.
6. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to streamline tax processes and procedures.
7. Staying updated with the latest industry trends and changes in tax laws to provide accurate and timely advice to clients.
Qualifications:
To qualify for this exciting role, you must have:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on high net worth individuals, S-Corporations, and Federal & State Tax.
3. In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including experience with tax planning and accounting.
4. Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
5. An ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
8. CPA certification is preferred.
