Tax Manager

Due to continued organic growth, we are seeking an experienced CPA with a strong background in tax preparation and review within a public accounting environment. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives in a fast-paced setting, values client relationships, and enjoys mentoring others.

Qualifications

• CPA license required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5–7 years of recent public accounting tax experience, including preparation and review.

• Proven experience reviewing and preparing a wide range of tax returns.

• Strong professional presence with demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities.

• Highly motivated, proactive, and positive, with the ability to take initiative in a dynamic environment.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency with technology, including Excel and QuickBooks.

Responsibilities

• Review and prepare 1065, 1120S, 1040, and 1041 tax returns.

• Prepare tax estimates and projections for clients.

• Analyze and apply complex tax concepts to client situations and transactions with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Maintain and strengthen client relationships by delivering exceptional client service.

• Assume full responsibility for supervising engagements and special projects in accordance with firm policies, requiring minimal supervision.

• Contribute to the firm’s practice development initiatives, including identifying and expanding service opportunities for clients.
